Important Notice – Update to Withdrawal Policy (Reinforcement of AML Regulations)
2025-03-17

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for choosing LINX as your service provider.

We would like to inform you that LINX has updated its withdrawal policy to enhance the security of your assets and comply with international AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.

Key Changes:
New Withdrawal Address Input Method:
Previously, users could directly input external exchange addresses when making withdrawals. However, going forward, withdrawals will only be allowed to internal LINX addresses.
Withdrawals to External Addresses: If you wish to withdraw assets to an external exchange, you must first add the external address under your ‘Personal Wallet’ and withdraw from there.

Reason for the Changes:
These updates are crucial for reinforcing AML and KYC compliance and are designed to:
✔ Enhance Anti-Money Laundering Measures: By restricting withdrawals to LINX internal addresses, we can better track asset transfers and prevent illicit activities.
✔ Prevent Illegal Transactions: Limiting direct withdrawals to external exchanges helps reduce risks associated with money laundering, fraud, and scams.

Effective Date:
This policy change will take effect from March 17, 2025.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safer and more compliant trading environment. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,
LINX Customer Support
